Benita Deanna Quezada passed away peacefully on July 4, surrounded by the love of her family.

Benita was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose greatest joy in life was caring for those she loved. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Oscar; her seven children: Yolanda Mendoza, Marcella Quezada, Alicia Quezada (Xavier Magallanes), Carlos Quezada (Andrea), Julian Quezada (Sarah), Imelda Ruelas (Nestor), and Angelica Ginyard (Ryan). She also leaves behind 16 cherished grandchildren who brought endless happiness to her life. Benita is also survived by her sister, Rosemarie Castaneda (Manuel) and her brother, Stephen Marquez (Dianna) along with her nieces and nephews that she loved like her own.

Benita had a passion for cooking and baking, and she found great joy in creating handmade crafts. Whether preparing a family meal, baking treats for loved ones, or working on a new craft project, she poured love into everything she did. Above all, she treasured time spent with her family, creating memories that will be cherished for generations.

Benita will be remembered for her loving heart, generous spirit, and unwavering devotion to her family. Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy of love, kindness, and togetherness will live on in all who knew her.

Benita was preceded in death by her parents, Rudolph Sr. and Virginia Marquez; her brother, Rudolph Marquez Jr.; and her son-in-law, Pedro Mendoza.

A Viewing with Rosary will be held for Benita D. Quezada on Thursday, July 16, 2026, from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM at Holy Rosary Church, located at 645 California St, Woodland, CA 95695.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, July 17, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Holy Rosary Church, located at 645 California St, Woodland, CA 95695.

Following the Mass, a graveside service will be held on Friday, July 17, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph's Cemetery, located at 860 West St, Woodland, CA 95695.
